Never Let Me Go Press Conference Photos (2010)

And to celebrate the DVD and Blu-Ray release, here are some of my favourite pictures from Andrew's press conference in Toronto during the press junket for Never Let Me Go!

Never Let Me Go DVD & Blu-Ray Release

Yes that's right, this week saw the worldwide DVD and Blu Ray release of Alex Garland's adaptation of the Kazuo Ishiguro novel, Never Let Me Go.

If you haven't seen it yet (like me - ssssh! I'm waiting to read the book first!!) then here is the trailer.

I have watched this several times and already know I'm going to cry. A lot. But I'm looking forward to giving it a go.

Now go out and buy it. It's available in all major stores and online retailers.

Andrew Wins Saturn Award

Andrew picked up the Best Supporting Actor award at the Saturn Awards on Thursday for his role as Tommy in Never Let Me Go.

Never Let Me Go Behind The Scenes Exclusive

Thank you to InStyle for this wonderful little behind-the-scenes video, with Kazuo Ishiguro, to celebrate the  DVD release of Never Let Me Go:

Enjoy!

Romancing the Stone?

I tend not to listen to idle gossip, but I couldn't resist the pun!

There are a lot of rumours abound about Andrew possibly now dating Emma Stone. I am not going to speculate until I get hard proof, but I will say that if it is true, I am 100% behind them as a couple. My boy and girl crushes together? How could that be a bad thing ;-)

That is all.

Exclusive Chat with Marc Malkin

Andrew had an exclusive chat with Marc Malkin form E!Online at the Maui Film Festival. Marc kindly posted the video for us all to see :-)

I am flailing and sighing over the entire thing! Particularly this: "I've got proper sunburn. All over. You haven't seen the worst of it. You wanna...?" and then he makes as if to show us his lines..... *dies*

Andrew's Plans for the Future

Hawaii has had a much more profound effect on Andrew than we realised!! In this wonderfully honest  interview, taken with him after he received his Shining Star award, he explains.

Andrew talks about the future

"I don't know, I think I'm taking stock a little bit and sitting still for a second, and considering my life in a little moment of quiet I guess, and trying to not let the train take me where it wants to take me, and actually make sure that I have consciousness of where I want to go before I make my first step. It's strange because I kind of forget that I'm an actor, I get confused that I'm an actor. I didn't have a plan to do it. It's something I found that I loved and then I kind of fell into it. So now I kind of find myself having worked as an actor which is a strange thing. I can't understand how that happened, so I have to take a minute and look at it and analyse whether it's what I want actually. I'm sure it will be. I love it. And then make informed decisions and choices from there. But you know, some life for the next few months. I think I'm going to do some travelling and that kind of stuff."

Andrew Receives Shining Star Award

After all the wonderful lead-up to the day, Andrew was finally presented with his Shining Star award.

CONGRATULATIONS!

And these two pictures were posted on Marc Malkin's twitter (from E!Online) who was clearly pretty enamoured with Andrew!!

It's been quite clear that Andrew has felt very at home in Hawaii, saying he felt aloha as soon as he set foot on the island, coining the new term "Jewaiian" and expressing his gratitude to his 'ohana :) and we have to agree that he has looked totally relaxed and happy all week!

"Beautiful Thing" (2006)

Andrew starred alongside Gavin Brocker in the theatre revival of Jonathan Harvey's "Beautiful Thing" back in 2006, and here is an interview with the two of them just before they started performing.

More Pics of Andrew with Garrett Hedlund

Here are some more pictures of Andrew and Garrett at the Maui Film Festival VIP party. I am in uproar in my Eisenfield bubble over the ongoing "bromance" talk! LOL!
